Parent Notice, March 12, 2010
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
You will receive your child’s second report card today. Please read it carefully and take seriously the teacher’s Parent Comments. Also, look to see if your child is being considered for retention.
Next week, the Oakland Rotarians will give all our third grade students a book to take home. Enjoy your child reading that book to you and other family members. We are grateful for this yearly gift.
Friday, March 19, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., we will have our Franklin Parent Group (FPG) meeting in the library. At 10:00 a.m., we will have our School Site Council (SSC) meeting. A guest speaker will explain the 2010 Census benefits and process. Please plan to attend both meetings.
We will have Summer Intervention for our students who need extra help in Math and Language Arts. More information will be distributed in April.
