This is Guadalupe with a few words of wisdom.

Our country is a place where people who set goals, work hard to achieve those goals, and persevere can create great success in their lives. Antonia Novello is such a person. She was the first Hispanic Surgeon General of the United States as well as the first woman to hold that position. Now listen to what she says to us:

If you do not know where you are going, you are already there.

In other words, if you don’t know where you want to go in life, you aren’t going anywhere. What about you? Do you have any goals for your education? Have you Thought about where you want to go, or what you want to achieve in life?

Today, set aside some time and write down a least one goal that you would like to achieve with your schoolwork.

With something to think about, this is Guadalupe. Make it a great day!
